During this intensive training, he learned to disassemble and reassemble projectors, gaining a deep understanding of their technical components and maintenance. He also developed his skills in media server programming by coding within Pandora's Box, enhancing his ability to create dynamic visual environments for live performance. In addition to the technical training, Jack toured several of Cirque’s world-class venues and had the chance to connect with an inspiring community of technicians, designers, and performers, an experience that further fueled his passion for innovative projection design.

05/01/25- Completing My Theatre Design Education
After three years of dedicated study at Montclair State University, Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design, Technology, and Management. The program pushed him to grow not only as a designer but also as a leader and collaborator. While the experience came with its share of challenges, it ultimately shaped his identity as a driven and resourceful artist. Jack worked across multiple productions in roles ranging from projection designer to content creator, often leading projects as a one-person department. Through these hands-on opportunities, he gained valuable experience in real-world problem-solving, communication, and creative storytelling. His time at Montclair laid a strong foundation for his continued growth in the world of live performance and multimedia design.

08/026/24- Muny Summer Internship

Jack collaborated on multiple shows, helping to load in, program, and run projection elements under tight timelines in a fast-paced professional environment. He also had the opportunity to learn from seasoned designers and technicians, expanding his knowledge of large-format projection workflows and outdoor theatrical logistics. The experience deepened Jack’s skills, confidence, and passion for creating dynamic visual storytelling in live performance.
